Logging GLP-1 side effects
Side effects are common when starting or changing a GLP-1 dose. A short, consistent log makes it easier to remember what happened and to share useful detail with your clinician.
What to write down
- Symptom: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, or whatever you notice.
- Timing: when it started relative to your last dose and meals.
- Severity: mild, moderate, or strong enough to change your day.
- Context: new dose, skipped meal, low protein, dehydration, travel, illness, or stress.
- What helped: rest, smaller meals, hydration, or anything else you tried.
Look for patterns, not perfection
You do not need a novel for every entry. A few sentences on the days that stand out is enough. Over a few weeks, you may notice symptoms cluster after dose day, after very low food intake, or when water slips.
Those patterns are often more useful in a visit than a vague memory that “last month was rough.”
Track symptoms next to the rest of your plan
Side effects make more sense next to medication timing, meals, and weight. Meto keeps check-ins in the same place as your GLP-1 schedule and nutrition targets so the story stays connected.
Meto is a personal tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. Seek urgent care for severe or worsening symptoms, and follow your prescribing healthcare provider.
