Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Meto ("Meto", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Meto mobile application. Meto helps you track your own GLP-1 medication routine, nutrition, hydration, weight, and related notes. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Process

• Account identifiers — your Firebase Authentication user ID and email address.
• Health & tracking data you enter — medications, dose logs, injection sites, meals and protein, water, weight, appetite and side-effect check-ins, inventory, and notes.
• Optional progress photos — stored in private Supabase Storage and associated with your account.
• Apple Health data (optional) — if you connect Apple Health, we read metrics such as weight, height, steps, and sleep to prefill and update your dashboard. This data is read on your device and is only used within the app.
• Subscription events — purchase and entitlement status via RevenueCat and the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; those are handled by Apple.
• Product analytics & attribution — usage and event data through PostHog and the Meta SDK, subject to your platform-level tracking permissions.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide medication and lifestyle tracking, sync your data across your devices, store your private files, manage subscription access, provide support, maintain reliability and security, and understand product usage so we can improve the app. AI-generated summaries, where available, are produced from the tracking context you provide and are for informational purposes only — they are not medical advice.

How Your Data Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf — Google Firebase (authentication and database), Supabase (private photo storage), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), and PostHog and Meta (analytics and attribution) — and only as needed to provide those functions. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with the reputable providers listed above. Progress photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can edit or delete individual entries at any time within the app.
• You can disconnect Apple Health at any time in your device Settings.
• You can request full account and data deletion (see below).

Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data from within the app, or by emailing us at support@metohealthapp.com. Deletion removes your app database records and associated private storage objects where technically feasible. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Children's Privacy

Meto is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
