First week on GLP-1: what to track

Your first week on a GLP-1 medication is mostly about establishing a calm routine. You do not need a perfect spreadsheet. You need a few details logged consistently so you can see what happened.

First-week tracking checklist

  1. Pick your weekly shot day and set a reminder.
  2. Log the dose, time, and injection site.
  3. Note side effects for a few days after the shot, especially nausea, constipation, and fatigue.
  4. Keep protein and water visible even if appetite is lower.
  5. Weigh on a simple cadence, not every anxious hour.
  6. Write one short note for your clinician if something stands out.

Keep it in one place

The goal is clarity, not perfection. Meto is built to hold that first-week routine: medication, check-ins, nutrition targets, and progress in one iPhone app.
